"This is my husband's favorite spot to eat when we visit Iowa City for appointments. It is on our way back home from the hospital. We have eaten at all times of the day. I do suggest if you want fresher hot food to go at lunch or supper time. As the middle of the afternoon the food if good but it has been sitting awhile. Lunch and supper have always been delicious. One of my favorites is the hot crab and cheese dish! The building is looking aged and the bathroom needs some deep cleaning. The service has always been excellent, with light music in the background."

"I usually try to come here at least once a month. The best time is within the first hour of opening for the freshest selections. After that, you may have to wait for your favourites to be replenished. I especially like the seafood medley, fresh suchi, sticky rice & egg drop soup. The Ice Cream bar has a wide selection, to include sherbet. Unfortunately, not all patrons are sanitary conscious, especially unsupervised children. I would suggest soft-serve machines & adding Frozen Yogurt for those of us who cannot eat ice cream. Even though this is a self-serve buffet, the staff are very attentive, friendly and helpful. I woll definitely return."

"Peking Buffet was a wonderful experience for our family. The chicken dishes were flavorful and tender, and the fried rice was perfectly seasoned--comfort food at its best. But what made it truly special was the warm, welcoming environment. The staff were kind and attentive, and the space felt clean and relaxed, making it easy to enjoy time with loved ones. It's the kind of place where you can sit down, share a meal, and make memories. We'll definitely be back!"

"The food was pretty good, they had more meat options than other buffets for Asian cuisine. They were also cheaper than some other buffets as well. I will say the plates and cups were paper/plastic. I assume if they had glass wear they would have to up charges just to pay off glass and silverware. I didn't mind the paper and plastic it's better on their end and less staff to hire for a dishwasher. I did have to wait a little bit for fresh food but better fresh than never."
